JULIA KONIGSHOFER
JUNIOR SKILLS COACH
Julia joins the OLR team as a junior trainer. She is from Waverley, Nova Scotia and is a senior at Lockview High School.
Julia has been a member of the Team Canada Women’s baseball program since 2021. She is proud to compete for Nova Scotia as a member of the Senior Women’s program. Mainly a pitcher, she also plays middle infield and is an offensive force.
She has committed to The University of Memphis where she will compete as a D1 athlete with the Tigers track program. Julia is the current U18 Canadian champion in javelin, a title she earned in Sherbrooke Quebec in August of 2022.
Julia has been awarded with “Minor Female Athlete of the Year”, in 2019 and “Major Female Athlete of the Year”, in 2021 from Baseball Nova Scotia. She was also awarded with “Top Offensive Player” at the 16U Nationals in Summerside, PEI in August of 2022.
Julia has been playing baseball since the age of nine and has competed extensively across Canada, in the southern US and in Cuba. Julia has been coaching since 2018, and her love and passion for the game is brought into her coaching techniques.
